Glenn Koach
Chief Executive Officer

Glenn Koach leads the business and strategic side of KC Beauty Academy. He oversees finance, accounting, and regulatory requirements, and is deeply involved in growing the school’s programs and expansion plans.
He began his career as a Senior Tax Specialist for Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. and was a CPA. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics, with a major in Finance and Accounting, from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Yuko T. Koach
Founder / Board Member

As the founder of KC Beauty Academy and an accomplished hairstylist in film and entertainment, Yuko brings a wealth of knowledge that helps guide our students’ careers and gives them an insider’s perspective on the entertainment business.
She began her career in Japan and rose to the top of her profession in Hollywood, working on films and TV shows such as Michael Jackson’s “This Is It,” “Pushing Daisies,” “The Hunger Games,” and “Memoirs of a Geisha.” She also earned Emmy nominations for hairstyling three years in a row.
Jenny Duenas

Jenny Duenas has been a licensed cosmetologist for more than 15 years and has worked in beauty education since 2007. She has served as a lead instructor and supervisor at both private and public institutions, and has been a school director for more than 7 years at campuses large and small.
She is invested in her students’ success and always strives to create a motivating learning environment at KC Beauty Academy.
Rino Koach
Operations & Admissions Director

Rino Koach brings more than eight years of experience in beauty education. A licensed cosmetologist, she began her career in human resources for a major retail brand and as a salon manager at her family’s salon, KC Stylist Studio.
At KC Beauty Academy, Rino oversees operations, admissions, student services, and compliance, supporting students from enrollment to graduation. She also serves as an independent contractor evaluator for the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences (NACCAS), contributing her expertise to accreditation and compliance.
Jezabel Velazquez
Financial Aid Officer

Cosmetology Instructor

Mr. Jay is a seasoned cosmetologist with more than 15 years of teaching experience. As a former salon owner, he understands salon management and what it takes to run a successful business. He has also worked in prestigious Beverly Hills salons, where he gained experience with high-profile clients and advanced techniques.
He blends his practical experience with a passion for education, making sure students have the skills and professionalism to thrive in a competitive field.
Julia Martin
Esthetician Instructor

Ms. Julia has been a licensed esthetician since 2008. Her own skin struggles sparked a passion for results-driven treatments, and with a background in holistic skin care, she loves teaching people how to fix the root of the problem. She never stops learning and researching, which has earned her a reputation as an “ingredient encyclopedia.”
In 2018, she became an esthetician instructor, using her years of experience to inspire the next generation of estheticians.
Nancy Angsuvarn
Manicuring Instructor

Ms. Nancy has been a licensed manicurist for more than 14 years, with experience as a salon owner, educator, and freelance artist on editorial, fashion, and beauty campaigns. She has collaborated with brands including Sephora, OPI, Nylon, and Teen Vogue.
As an educator, she enjoys sharing her creativity and expertise to help students build strong technical skills and confidence as future professionals.
