Your Path to Enrollment
Five simple steps from your first visit to your first day of class.
Book a campus tour
Visit us in person or virtually. See our classrooms and student salon, meet our instructors, and learn about our Cosmetology, Esthetician, and Manicuring programs, including hybrid options.
Meet with Admissions
We’ll go over schedules, start dates, tuition, and your goals. If you’ve filed your FAFSA (school code 042804), we can review your financial aid estimate during your visit.
Complete your application online
When you’re ready to move forward, we’ll email you your admissions application. You’ll fill out the form, upload your documents, and pay the registration fee online.
Finalize financial aid & enrollment
We’ll send your financial aid package and enrollment paperwork for you to review and sign electronically.
Attend orientation & start class
You’ll receive your New Student Orientation details and your first day of class.

Admission Requirements
Each student enrolling in a KC Beauty Academy program must:
- Complete the admissions application we send you after your tour
- Provide a government-issued ID
- Provide proof of secondary education (high school diploma, GED certificate, official transcript showing completion, or state certification of home-school completion). Foreign diplomas must include an English translation and confirmation of U.S. equivalency.

When can I start?
We offer monthly start dates. Admissions will help you choose a start date that fits your schedule.
Do I need to apply before my tour?
No. Book a tour first — in person or virtual. If you’d like to move forward afterward, we’ll email you your application.
What do I need to enroll?
A government-issued ID, proof of high school completion (or equivalent), your completed application, and the registration fee.
How long do the programs take?
Full-time, Cosmetology (1,000 hours) takes about 7 months, and Esthetician (600 hours) takes about 19 weeks. Part-time schedules take longer. With our hybrid format, how long it takes depends on your schedule — the more on-campus practical hours you attend each week, the sooner you graduate. Do you offer part-time or hybrid schedules?
Yes. Cosmetology and Esthetician are offered full-time, part-time, and hybrid. Manicuring is offered hybrid only. Hybrid combines online theory with weekly hands-on training on campus. Learn about Hybrid →
Is financial aid available?
Yes! We’re approved by the U.S. Department of Education to offer federal financial aid to those who qualify in our Cosmetology and Esthetician programs. Monthly payment plans are also available. Federal School Code: 042804.
